Agreed.

Especially when you've been sat in an air conditioned office all evening :D

Soo... what's too hot? It's been about 110 F here this last week and even central air can't keep us comfortable and now I have a summer cold... *sigh*

All I want is to hold to the things the Lord is showing me and I can hardly think! Oh well.. He knows I am human and He has forgiven me for that already. I guess He will forgive me for this as well.

But I had such a great week, with friends, spiritual brothers, to visit from MI and the Lord gave us fellowship and spoke with us and shaped my heart. Please, oh Lord, let me hold to that, even if I don't feel well physically.

It peaked about 80F during the day yesterday, and about 90 inside the house last night (until I put the fan on!).

I know that's not high compared to your temperature there, but us Brits aren't that used to it!! :-)
We've had a really bad summer so far, with cold and rain, so this "heatwave" was a tad unexpected! Heh.

Carol, can I just say that I love to hear you speak in your journal... your faith really lifts me up! :-)

Yes, that is hot for you guys! And I bet you aren't set up at home with central air like most of us in the midwestern US are!

Wow... I didn't know that it mattered to anyone... :)

I just had the most incredible week, I am changed and I hardly know myself. My friends (and brothers in Christ) Deb, her sibling, Mark V and Deb's two kids came to visit for ten days. I have been to MI several times to visit with them, but this is the first time any of them came to WA state to visit us.

It was my desire that they see things in my life that I was blind to that God needed to touch... and they did, it was very cool. I was taught a lesson in authority as well. And, because my husband is not of Christ, I was given headcovering over my family and my son's friend, Jessica, who desires Christ. It is a pretty scary place at times, but I know that the Lord and my brothers will hold me up and keep me straight. (I fear messing up, but that fear alone caused the biggest problem all week! lol )

I'm gonna have to re-download the LJ client and do some posting (reformatted my hard drive too and am building a new puter!)

Thanks, and I will be posting more soon..
