Great weekend... [Oct. 21st, 2002|10:41 am]

[Current Mood |happyhappy]

Yes, it has been a fantastic weekend, with many twists and turns along the way.

Saturday
Originally, we were going to see a friend of the family on Saturday. Then Nic said she needed Caroline for a dress fitting for their wedding. So, we went over in the morning and left there about midday. (Whilst Caroline and Nic were getting fitted, Ian and I went to PC World... where else??!?!)

We popped over to Suffolk to visit our family friend, only to find on arrival that an emergency had come up and they had to go out. So that kinda blasted our afternoon.

Except.... when we realised we were quite close to novemberbug, we dropped her a message to see if she was in, and ended up spending the rest of the afternoon with her. We had a nice lunch in the village, and a really beautiful walk. (My new desktop wallpaper - Suffolk Sky.jpg)

Thanks for a great day, Leo! *hugs*

I borrowed a map to find a route back home, and discovered that the route I'd got from Ian was 3 sides of a square... it was my fault though, I just asked for the A14, which was kinda miles out of the way! LOL There is one road that runs between Ian and Nic's place and Leo's place... took about half the time!!!

On the way back we popped into McDonalds for something to eat, about a mile from Ian and Nic, so we messaged them to say "Hi"... and they'd gone out themselves! LOL

Sunday
Did absolutely nothing!!
Spend the whole day snuggling in bed and matching DVDs.

Bliss!!!!

Yeah, matching DVDs.

You're a woman, you know how it goes... I buy something and Caroline has got to have one too!! ;o)

I was gonna correct that mistake, but I'm not going to now... it's more fun!

I wanted to watch DVDs in bed yesterday but Josh's bro has nabbed out player and we can't. *wails* We could have done with it today too!

Why the heck didn't you say you had something prior arranged!!?
I feel as if I ruined your day now!

Ok, say now if you have anything planned for the 2nd! Remembering that its an all day thingy
:-/
All had to happen in one day! I don't want any confusion this time! :-P

You knew! :-P

That's why we said we had to leave yours by midday! :-)
Don't worry though, you didn't ruin our day at all... it's always good to see you!!

The day was mostly scuppered by our friend having to cancel our plans for the afternoon... but it's not all bad, we got the chance to meet up with Leonie! :o)

No, we have nothing planned for the 2nd... except coming over to see you guys.
Got any plans for lunch? :-)

You didn't tell us that! :-P

Leonie is great we had a great chat when we went over to see her!

No plans for lunch! But then it is nearly 2 weeks away!

We did tell you that we could only be with you early on in the day. The family thing wasn't supposed to happen early afternoon anyway.

We were supposed to be seeing my cousin and his wife, and her little sister (who I knew a lot when we were younger) and william and Alice <-- the mad flowergirl at our wedding - remember??.

Well on way down, we called to confirm and Julie had forgotten all about us coming down.. James (cousin) was actually up in Bridlington doing his new job.. natalie could'nt make it and Julie said she'd be a bit boring as shes a bit down with James so far away.

So we called lenoie and spent the day over there(which was great) and we still managed to "suprise" Julie and the kids on the way back.. before the detour back to your neck of the woods for the McDonalds on the way home hehe

The dress fitting didn't get in the way of any plans, as it was part of them! ;o)) it all worked out quite well without the minor mishaps hehe..

All in all saturday was a *great* day ;o)

and the 2nd has no other bookings so we're all yours that day

Moo
