Someone does something nasty, and you make a remark about it saying that it's not a very nice thing to do.
They then say, oh but I'm not doing it any more.... then about 3 weeks later, you find out that they are still shamelessly doing it.
How two-faced can you get?
In the last year or so, I've seen a lot of posts relating to LJ users who have passed away.
It's really quite scary to realise that if I didn't have LJ, I wouldn't have known about these people.
If just makes you realise that this world is a lot smaller than you would care to imagine.
However, it also makes you realise how strong the bond of LJ can be, especially in such times of sadness.
My heart goes out to all people who have experienced a loss or friends, family, acquaintances or even people they may not have known that well. Following my grandma's death last August, it made me realise how fragile the human life actually is. But I do know that she, and all people who have passed on, are at peace.
Life is precious, but priceless... immaterial, but irreplaceable.
I drove most of the way into work this morning with a metallic blue Land Rover up my backside!
I have noticed that a lot (not all) of people-carrier and 4x4 drivers do tend to drive a lot closer to people than "lower" cars. Is it to do with the fact that they are so much higher up??
