The National IQ Test... [May. 4th, 2003|10:35 pm]
The Love Bug
[Current Music |Artful Dodger - Movin Too Fast (remix)]

I took the National IQ Test this evening, like many others did.

I ended up with a score of 86. An interesting result when the Mensa Home Test placed me at 155.

It's worth pointing out that the Mensa IQ test does not include a test of memory or knowledge. It's about how quickly and clearly you can think. Therefore, I'm not taking this result too seriously.

Interestingly enough, I just re-ran the test and got a score of 133. I'm obviously not counting that, as the result is somewhat skewed.

it's a load of crap... if you're in the 20-30 age group, the max you can score is 137 (or 136 or something) afaict

fwiw, i got 130 with 4 non-answers cos my hands were too dry to move the laptop pointer thing accurately

137? That's a load of crap. How can they define that a specific age group can't get a higher IQ than 137?

Pah! :-P

The highest IQ they were letting anyone have was 157, and you had to be in the 50-69 year old group to get that!

Sir Clive Sinclair, who is the President of UK Mensa, has an IQ of 160 (at least he did the last I heard).

Maybe they weighted it, so you couldn't get a higher IQ than him? :-P

That's a hell of a "spread" in the results! :/

I'd go with the Mensa one :-)
