Shucks :-( It's particularly nasty of people to do something like this, then flee without leaving any details.
I guess the silver lining of this cloud is that a scratch etc. had to happen eventually, and it could have been a lot worse.
Not sure how deep the paintwork scratch is, but it's amazing what a bit of polish will take off if it's just light (don't use T-Cut though, just a normal polish).
The thing is, it looks as though it's been hit by something with a corner... so most cars are ruled out. We've had a number of trucks down our street delivering skips and the like, so I'm wondering whether it was one of them.
As for the paintwork, the black part of the bumper is plastic and the colour-coded bit is fibreglass. Bummer.
My former employer Suzanne had a shock one night when she discovered a huge gouge in the side of her sporty little Peugeot. And when I say huge, we're talking about a foot and a half high by 3 feet long. It was more denty tbh. Some asshole at Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club did that and then didn't tell her - it took her about 4 days to realise.
She's pretty dizzy, you see.
