The Love Bug
I just read a really moving post in one of the communities I'm a part of, that I want to share. I invite you to go and read it too.
It is a Christian community, which might turn some people off, but I urge you to put that to one side, just to read this post.

*sniffle* - that is very touching (made even more so by the fact that by chance I was playing "Angel" by the Eurythmics at the time).
I would have thought that instead of all these shock tactic anti-speeding adverts some of which are so graphic they have to be shown after the 9pm watershed (which means most people have forgotton about them by the following morning), they could make that story into an advert - I think it would stick in people's minds far more than the other sort of adverts.
That story reminds me of another story which I came across a while back, against drink/drug driving which I think is even more touching.
I've got it on my website - Moonlight ride - here
yes I agree, advert of stories like this make you remeber more cause of the emotional reaction cause by it.
That is a very nice story. You know, whether or not that was in a Christian Community or not, it still is a story that can move people.
it has moved me to tears, but I'm a big teddy bear at heart
that my friend has made me cry. (40mins crying dude)
I personally have come across situations where I have come close to hitting someone when driving. Mostly cause I was not speeding but mostly cause they did not look and see me comming, but I saw them and reacted properly b4 time.
Many times I have been thanked by those in the car with me or the person I have almost hit for my reactions and careful driving. EVERYONE that has been in the car when I have driven trust me completely.
man I've been crying for the last 40mins now, can just about pull myself together to reply
I've seen it before and I know I can't read it again. It will definitely set me off. I'm not the target readership, I am a very cautious driver as you know.
But it definitely touches chords in those who do disregard road laws, I know a few of those people.
