The Love Bug
I just don't understand some people.
What an obnoxious pillock.
Oh, I see she's a pro-anorexia twit. Explains a lot.
There's been a few threads like that around, it's appauling. Then again people were mocking Richard Whitely the day after he died and those people were british.
I called him "Twice-nightly Whitely" in one of my posts but that was just to inject a little humour in to it. I doubt he would have wanted people to remember him without some element of humour seeing the amount of silly jokes they had on the show. But my reference to him wasn't meant to be offensive, it was just to show that it hadn't escaped my notice: I mean how can you have Countdown without Richard Whiteley?!
Some people will always just be prejudiced, brainless little twats. I bet she was the first to cry out when 9-11 happened. What she fails to see (and I'm sure you will agree with me here) is that we're all in this together.
*sigh* is all i have to say about that *shakes head* Some people!
She isn't worth arguing with.
You handled yourself very well so *hugs* for that!
commented on seeing this on your LJ.
The content disgusts me. It truely makes you wonder how people like her are able to string a sentence together.
You maintained dignity and self respect when replying to insults.
I, on the other hand, wouldn't have been so restrained.
But then, I think you know that ;)
That guy was an obnoxious jerk. The girl wasn't much better. People can be so insensitive and self-absorbed. It's unfortunate that some people only care about things unless it directly affects them somehow. If this would have happened in their own hometowns, they wouldn't have been so callous. And bringing weight into the matter, that was really mature. *roll eyes*
Some make it their life's mission to be as obnoxious as humanly possible.
Their sheer number is indicative of how our culture has pretty much tanked.
people like those make me wonder what happened to them that took away from their ability to empathise with anything, regardless of whether you have personal ties to it or not.
"Oooh I'm an American and I have the first amendment therefore I can insult people without feeling guilty."
Yes.... that's what it was there for!
