Cinema... [Mar. 18th, 2006|02:44 pm]
The Love Bug
I think this must be the first time I've set foot inside a cinema since we cancelled our Unlimited passes.

£11.60 for 2 cinema ticket is just daylight robbery, compared to £21.98 a month for as many as you like in a month.

Anyway, we're in to see Final Destination 3. I hope it lives up to the previous incarnations!

Nachos with cheese and chillies are calling my name. So if you'll excuse me...

Found out at the weekend that they've just upped the cost of the Unlimited pass at Cineworld (previously UGC) to £10.99 from £9.99.

Still, if you go and see 2 films a month, it's paid for... we're thinking of taking them up again.

I think we were paying £15 for 2 tickets at our local Odeon in Guildford. Add a drink or two and some popcorn and it was £20+. In London it's even worse.

£15 for two tickets? Hells bells!

Don't even mention London... Caroline and I saw American Beauty at the Empire Leicester Square... I seem to recall that the tickets were £11 each, and with drinks and snacks, the entire visit cost almost £40!

I went to see Lucky Number Slevin the other night, 1 adult and 1 student ticket... over £12... I can't believe that VUE think they can charge £6.75 for an adult ticket.

No wonder there's so much piracy!

Indeed... it does seem expensive... it's much cheaper to wait for Sky Box Office!!

What was Lucky Number Slevin like? Worth seeing?

How the hell are you? Haven't heard from you in ages! :o)
