The Love Bug
Yes indeed, I have just enrolled with the Open University.
I'm starting on October 7, with T175: Networked Living: Exploring Information and Communication Technologies with a view to completing a BSc (Honours) Information and Communication Technologies in 6-8 years time.
This is something that I've considered for a number of years, and Caroline and I discussed the possibility of going ahead with this once we'd moved and settled our debts. I know she's arranging something in a similar ilk, so no doubt she'll post about that nearer the time.
I'm so chuffed that I've finally gone ahead and done it.
Good for you Dave, I wish you well with it :)
I hope you enjoy studying :-) (I found the time thing more of an issue when I was doing the courses I took up, B604 (Cert Acc) and B700 (Prof Dip Mgt)...
Good luck (I am certain you will walk it but you should learn on tut way :-))
Congratulations :D I'm heavily involved in the OU, as you probably know - I just got my second MSc with them, and I work there too :) (I actually started studying with them lobng before I worked there, so it's not just employee-bias saying this.)
They really are excellent for studying while you continue working - tutors are generally very supportive, and the course calendar is structured to allow you to fit in the study time when it suits you.
All the best with your course :D
Hey, that's fantastic - good for you, and good luck.

Well done, I hope it goes well for you.
I've looked at doing courses there, but they never seem to quite have what I want!
