Monsters, Inc... [Jun. 10th, 2008|12:56 pm]
The Love Bug
[Current Music |Monsters Inc - I Wouldn't Have Nothin' If I Didn't Have You]

I’ve just put Monsters, Inc. on for Amy for the third time today, and the sixth time in two days!

I love that film as much as Amy seems to - it’s just so cleverly put together. Even the smallest detail has had so much effort put into it. Not least of which with the opening credits. The way that the animation of the opening sequence has been so closely bound in to the music is great! If you watch the bit where lots of doors are ‘popping’ onto the screen, they are appearing in time with the piano notes. It’s the same with the words “Pixar Animation” and the saxophone!

I could watch this film again and again, and it would never become stale!

I find that with all Pixar films - very clever, highly detailed and very amusing to adults but which children wouldn't get ^^

It's one of those films that hits me - right there - at the end. The trouble is, when you know that it's one of those films, I starts to hit you during the opening credits.

It's stupid really.

I know exactly what you mean... I was thinking exactly the same yesterday, after the 2nd time of watching it, how detailed Sully's fur was.
