Linux Email Clients... [Aug. 23rd, 2009|05:15 pm]
The Love Bug
So, who can recommend me a decent, lightweight, open-source IMAP client?

I have tried:
  • Balsa
  • Claws
  • Evolution
  • Thunderbird

... and I’m not particularly impressed with any of them.

What I ideally want is something with the functionality of Thunderbird, but without the huge memory footprint, memory leakage and general bloatedness.

Personally, I like KDE's KMail.

It can be a bit buggy at times but its' support for regular expressions in filters is *excellent*. Very strong filter support.

Under Windows, I like Thunderbird.
